This book analyses recent actions on the part of the international community towards the promotion of democratic transition and consolidation in seven countries areound the world – Burma, Togo, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen and Zimbabwe. It also proposes posible means for improvement of strategies to promote democracy.
