Transatlantic policy on Afghanistan and Pakistan in Obama year one: Missed opportunities

In this policy brief, Brian Katulis analyses US-European coopeation regarding Afghanistan and Pakistan ('AfPak') during the first year of Obama's term in office. Although transatlantic policy on Afghanistan was increasingly coordinated, there is still considerable room for improvement in cooperation efforts concerning the complicated security challenge of Pakistan.
