This policy brief by Sven Biscop finds that the high expectations which Europe and the US had of each other concerning security strategy have not entirely been met.

Although cooperation has increased on some issues since Obama entered the White House, the EU must make its own priorities clear and become more proactive if it is to make the most of the opportunity for transatlantic partnership.
