An approach to the Aid paradigm in favour of saharaui refugees: three Keys
It has been thirty years of exile since the Saharaui camps were set up in the southwest of Algeria.
Saharaui refugees are victims of an unresolved, stuck and neglected conflict. Other aggravating factors, such as donors' fatigue, humanitarian agencies' tiredness and excessive aid politicization, are added to the condition of trauma and dependence under which the population is living in camps.
This situation is attributable to several factors, ranging from the international financing system, humanitarian crises and the mandate of the United Nations agencies to the camp administrative structure.
It is a unique case in providing international aid which is, mainly, of a humanitarian nature.
