04/07/2006 By Santiago Herrero Villa

It may also be advisable to analyse the influence of Lula's Brazil in the different fronts this fight has in the world, from trade deregulation (Doha Round) to the development co-operation policies of the main donors and the attainment of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

According to all the polls, Lula would have other four years to "continue with the change process" and strengthen Brazil's role in the international scene of sustainable development.
