Bio author: Ernesto Zedillo

In 1969, he began his education at the Superior School of Economy at the National Polytechnic Institute and, at the same time, he started to work as assistant auditor for the National Bank of Army and Navy, a job which allowed him to count on enough sources to continue his professional studies. After completing his third year of professional education, Ernesto Zedillo decided to take exams on subjects corresponding to the final years to qualify for a university degree, and therefore in June, 1972, he graduated as Economist. He continued his master's degree and PhD in economics at Yale University in the United States of America. He was elected President of the Republic of Mexico 1994-2000
