24/10/2006 By Alejandro Bendaña, Publicaciones FRIDE
On October 24, 2006, a meeting organised as part of FRIDE's activities concerned with post-conflict situations was held in private.
Two experts attended the meeting, Alejandro Bendaña and Rick Barton, who were in Spain to participate in a series of seminars on these matters organised by the LaCaixa Foundation and FRIDE.
In addition, the main participants in this arena were engaged in the activities, that is, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation, the Agencia Española de Cooperación, AECI, (Spanish Agency for International Co-operation), the Defence Ministry and of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), as well as academics and diplomats.
