The EU-India summit: on the threshold of change

Political engagement between the EU and India has been stepped up. The Summit managed to neatly define and build on the three priorities: trade, security and energy. However the conclusion of the Bilateral Free Trade Accord this year will be a litmus test for the relationship. Greater convergence on the regional and multilateral level is vital for the strategic partnership to have global relevance.
