Mr. Mombrú is a financial institutions specialist with over 35 years experience in the financial sector including in development banking, bank management and strategy, operations and implementation, structural adjustment operations, and financial sector review and restructuring.
His main functional capabilities lie with strategy and organisation. After ten years with the World Bank dedicated exclusively to preparing and implementing structural adjustment operations and lines of credit, in 1980 he set up DFC and, as its Managing Partner, has since been responsible for defining the strategy and operating policies of the Group and for initiating and developing all its activities.
He created, subsequently developed and is presently overseeing the management of the Group. In tandem with his overall supervisory responsibilities, he has personally directed and undertaken a large number of assignments, a selection of which are described in details herewith.
He is member of the Advisory Committee of FRIDE.
