David Mathieson

British. PhD in Modern History and Economics from the University of London.
Between 1997-2002, David Mathieson worked in UK Foreign Office as Special Adviser to the late Robin Cook, British Foreign minister 1997-2001.
A qualified solicitor, he has worked in Brussels and London where he practiced commercial and international law.
Currently, he collaborates with FRIDE as Associate Fellow and has published numerous articles in Expansión, El País, El Correo, La Razón, the magazine Temas para el Deabte, The Guardian, Tribune, The New Statesman and the Foreign Policy Centre.
