Santiago Herrero Villa

BA in Information Sciences by the University Complutense of Madrid (1976).
A journalist and independent communications consultant, Santiago Herrero Villa is Vice President of the association CEFICALE (Centre of Studies, Training and Information on EU-Latin American Co-operation); Member of the EU institutions’ Team Europe; and Lecturer of the module “Policies and EU-Latin American Co-operation Programmes” at CEPADE (Polytechnic University of Madrid).
Has worked at the European Commission (1982-2004); Founder and Director of the specialised monthly publication Revista de Arqueología (1980-1982); Journalist and subsequently Director of the monthly publication Mundo Diplomático (1978–1980); as well as Collaborator at Radio Exterior de España (1977–1978).
Santiago Herrero Villa is the author of the novel El rayo del dios, edited under the pseudonym Abelardo G. Orozco (Escritos, Brussels; 2003)
