Magdalena Segre has been promoted to the position of Deputy Director of FRIDE. With 25 years of experience in the field of international relations, particularly in EU-Latin American relations, she has been working extensively in the world of think tanks, both in the fields of research and institutional relations and management.
Prior to join FRIDE as Director of Operations en 2007, she was a researcher at FLACSO/Argentina and at the Institute for European-Latin American Relations (IRELA) based in Madrid, where she then became Senior Coordinator in charge of international conferences and projects. She has also been director of institutional development in Aulavia, a leading e-learning Spanish company in the field of business administration. She has a BA in History from the University of Buenos Aires and an MA in International Relations from the University of Belgrano (Argentina), as well as postgraduate studies in Social Sciences in FLACSO/Argentina.
