Judy Batt
Professor in Politics and FRIDE Associate Fellow

Judy Batt is professor of Central and South-East European Politics at the Centre for Russian and East European Studies at the University of Birmingham. She is also deputy director of the Centre for Studies in Security and Diplomacy.
Her research mainly focuses on politics in the Western Balkans. Her recent publications include ‘The International Court of Justice and the future of Kosovo’ (FRIDE, July 2010), ‘Serbia: Tying the EU in knots’ (FRIDE, April 2010) and ‘Signs of hope in the Western Balkans?’ (FRIDE, November 2009).
