Cristina Manzano
Deputy Director General
Cristina Manzano is deputy director general of FRIDE and editor-in-chief of the online magazine of Foreign Policy Spanish Edition. She specialises in economic journalism and has worked as reporter and foreign correspondent based in the United States for Ranking magazine. In 1991, she joined Reporter, a leading corporate communications company and in 1996 she became the firm’s director general. In 2006, she joined Foreign Policy Spanish Edition as managing editor and in May 2008 was appointed editor-in-chief. She has a BA in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and has undertaken postgraduate studies at the University of Maryland through the Fulbright Programme.
Cristina Manzano publishes regularly in national and international media and appears weekly as an analyst in the TV programme Hoy, with Iñaki Gabilondo, in CNN+.
