Ana Lydia Fernández-Layos

Ana Lydia Fernández-Layos Fernández is a consultant specialising in gender and development. She has extensive experience in gender, international cooperation and the politics of Spain and Latin America.
She has participated in numerous seminars and conferences, and published many documents and articles on gender and sustainable human development, globalisation, and the human rights of women and girls. She has been collaborating with the European network WIDE (Women In Development Europe) since 2002.
She holds a degree in international relations from the University of Sussex, along with a Masters in International Cooperation from IUDC, specialising in gender and development.
