Amado Philip de Andrés
Deputy Regional Representative for West and Central Africa of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
Amado Philip de Andrés is in charge of developing programmes for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean in the Integrated Programming Unit, Division for Operations, UNODC and formerly UNODC Deputy Representative for West and Central Africa in Dakar, Senegal. The author was Legal Advisor in criminal matters at the Office of the Director, Department of Justice, United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and is lecturer in the European Studies Centre of Doğus, University of Istambul (Turkey).
In 2004, he published a book in Spanish and Serbo-Croatian entitled: “The Balkans: Purgatory of Europe”, Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, February 2004.
