Claudia Pineda is an international development consultant. Her work focuses on governance and decentralisation, with a special emphasis on democratic and equitable development.
She specialises in policy dialogue, donor coordination, and programme and policy-making evaluation systems, along with institutional strengthening of the public sector and civil society.
Claudia Pineda has been involved in the participative processes of state decentralisation and the design of national development strategies in Nicaragua and Panama.
She holds a BA in Sociology from the Universidad Centroamericana and a Masters in Public Policy from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
