Ana Alcalde holds a law degree from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and a Master degree in European law from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. She has more than ten years f experience in international development cooperation.
She has specialised in methodologies for planning, monitoring and evaluation at project and policy level, as well as public service reform, institution building and gender issues. She has worked in various Latin-American and African countries. She has authored a number of publications.
She is a researcher at the Centre of Studies for Latin America and International Cooperation of Fundación Carolina.
