Dr. Le Thanh Forsberg is a Research Associate at the European Institute of Japanese Studies, Stockholm School of Economics, with a Ph.D. degree in institutional and development economics from Sweden.
Based on her deep insights about Vietnam and working experience in the area of development cooperation, she has published numerous papers on Vietnamese development planning and poverty reduction with particular focus on the role of international donors and national ownership of the development process.
Dr. Le Thanh Forsberg has been a consultant for the OECD, the Swedish agency SIDA and UNDP on the role of development donors and aid harmonization in Vietnam.In Sweden, she has carried out capacity training for Vietnamese government officials in areas of governance, anti-corruption and public administration reform
