Lluís Bassat
Chairman, Bassat Ogilvy Iberia Group, Spain and Portugal
Publicity Technician and Diploma in Social Sciences and Business Administration.
Since 1987, he is Adviser of Publicity, Communications and Image for the Presidency of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
He was Chairman of Oviedo, Bassat, Sport, responsible for the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Barcelona '92 Olympic Games, and received the Gold Medal '92.
In 1975, he founded, in Barcelona, Bassat & Asociados, of which, in 1980, the multinational Ogilvy & Mather acquired some shares, thus creating the group Bassat Ogilvy Iberia, with Lluís Bassat as Chairman for Spain and Portugal.
