Has been Lecturer at the University of Nanterre, Chairman of the Social Council of the University of Alcalá de Henares, Civil Servant at the OECD, Director General of Political Economy, State Secretary for Economic Coordination and Programming, Minister of Economy, Economic Adviser and Adjunct to the Chairman of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya.
Currently, he is Chairman of the Spanish Private Banking Association, Chairman of the Asociación de Amistad Hispano-Francesa Diálogo and Chairman of Action Against Hunger and also member of the Advisory Committe of FRIDE.
