Chris Abbott is the Deputy Director of Oxford Research Group (ORG) and director of their Moving Towards Sustainable Security programme.
He is author of “Global Responses to Global Threats: Sustainable Security for the 21st Century” (ORG/FRIDE, 2006), “Beyond Terror: The Truth About the Real Threats to Our World” (Random House, 2007) and “An Uncertain Future: Law Enforcement, National Security and Climate Change (ORG/FRIDE, 2008), all also available in Spanish.
His research interests include transnational and non-traditional security threats, alternative global security strategies, and the national and international security implications of climate change
