In the last Parliament session, Carmen Romero was member of the Commitee on Education, Sport and Culture; member of the Committee on Social Policy and Employment; Spokesperson for the Multiparty Commission on the Study of the Problem of Drugs; and member of the Parliamentary Group of Cooperation with Morocco.

Carmen Romero holds a Degree in Philosophy and Arts from the University of Seville.
