Participants in the conference will include Abdallah Saaf, Director of the Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches en Sciences Sociales in Marroco; Mustapha Hamameh, Senior Researcher at the Center for Strategic Studies and Chief Editor of the newspaper Al-Sijill in Jordania; Abdelaziz el Sager, Director of the Gulf Research Center of the United Arab Emirates; and Bassma Kodmani, Director of the Arab Reform Initiative (ARI) in Jordania.

The event, which will take place in English, forms part of the regular meeting forum “FRIDE en Casa de Galicia”, which is run according to the Chatham House rule and is designed to debate topics linked to FRIDE’s lines of research. Participants will include academics, government representatives, international civil servants, journalists with expertise in the subject matter and independent experts.
