A peace and security agenda between Europe and Latin America? Possibilities and limitations

The stability and security of Latin America and Europe are a major element of global security, and the countries of both regions have an important role to play in the promotion of peace and stability around the world.
In collaboration with the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO), the Forum Europe-Latin America held a workshop devoted to the analysis of the peace and security agenda between the two regions.
During this workshop, the debate will focus on three areas:
- Security and peacebuilding approaches in Europe and Latin America;
- Dialogue and regional cooperation between the European Union and Latin America in terms of peace and security;
- Global security challenges for Latin America and Europe and their cooperation in a multilateral framework.
