14/02/2012The presence of key EU officials in New Delhi during and in the run up to the EU-India summit showed a willingness to re-balance the political dimension of the partnership. However, key differences remain over EU-US sanctions on Iran and the European Emissions Trading System, among others. Finalising the free trade agreement is particularly key for a more strategic partnership.
